What the course is about
Most legal education teaches the law. Why we said yes
Criminal and civil litigation is where most Indians first meet the legal system, and usually at the worst moment of their lives. The people who will handle those matters ten years from now are sitting in classrooms today, learning to find the right section under time pressure.
Legal research in India is still slower than it should be. The law is spread across bare acts, amendments, judgments and procedural schedules that do not talk to each other, and a student loses hours to retrieval that should go to reasoning. Closing that gap early in a lawyer's training is a small thing that compounds across an entire career.
